Warm weather has finally arrived in the Midwest which means one thing: lawncare.

There’s nothing quite like weekend trips to the local Home Depot for manufactured fertilizer to dump all over our yards, soak with cleaner water than most of the world drinks, and fire up our gas-powered mowers to chop it all down week after week.

Ahhh, the middle-class suburbs <3

Actually, this year we’re digging up a bunch of our grass and replacing it with pollinators and rain gardens. But that amount of landscaping requires a fair amount of garage space for all the tools and flowers waiting to be planted.

Thankfully, I don’t fall into one of the 52 million Americans who can’t park in their own garage so I have plenty of space. And that’s what this month’s rant post is all about. Check it out below!
