Hi folks!

October is here and boy are the markets spooked.

The 5% drop in September may have been nothing or it may have been the foreshadowing of the bigger terror coming in the second half of the movie.

Hopefully that sound in the attic was just the wind and not a doll coming to life to remind you about your student loan payments resuming.

In more useless news, the U.S. government avoided a shutdown for the umpteenth time. I’m shocked. Who would have guessed politicians like to cause a bunch of scary noise only to swoop in and save us from the horror they themselves created?

Onto something far more entertaining. This month’s post at PoorChoices.org is all about my investing thesis for the bond market.

Me using the word thesis seriously. Now THAT’S scary.
